In a midst of night

In a midst of night, when the moonlight is at its peak.
A tear from my eye rolls, and it rolls down to my cheek.

The tear that rolled, had a lot to say.
May be the dreams that I saw, that I lost on my way.

The pain I got, the pain I bear.
Is something to hide, but I can’t I swear.

I got so much in my life, I got so much to explore.
Still, I feel something is missing, may be the smile that I had wore.

In a midst of night, When the dog barks loud.
Something inside me screams, and it screams aloud.

The voice that screamed, had a lot to say.
May be the desires I had, that I lost on my way.

The problems I faced, the problems I bear.
Is something to hide, but I can’t I swear.

I achieved so much in my life, I got so much to share,
Still I feel something is missing, may be the heart that glared.

In a midst of night, when no one is around.
I speak to myself some words that weigh some pound.

The words I speak, had a lot to say.
May be the things I can do, that are still on my way.

The potential I have, the potential I can bear.
Isn’t something to hide, I won’t I swear.

I can get so much in life, I can have even more to cheer.
The things I lost, I’ll get it with the smile I had wear.

In a midst of night, when sun will rise soon.
I sleep hoping that my LORD will remove this gloom.

In A MIDST OF NIGHT.
