I have a Dream

One morning I woke up and my servant came with a cup of coffee and a newspaper. I stood up from my bed and walked on the Italian marble floor to my balcony. A cold breeze touched me as I was in my apartment at the 21st floor of the humongous building. I took a sip of the latte and read the newspaper. On the front page it had an article written by me. Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. I am Jaspal Singh and I am a writer. My fans adulate me and people get motivated by my words.  Well, coming back to what I was saying, I started reading my article. It feels good to read what you have written. I started writing as a hobby and now it is my profession. I then turned the pages of the newspaper and afterwards did all the morning chores. I had to go for the launch of my first novel. As I was about to leave from home for the venue, I heard a voice of my sister. She was shouting “wake up bro” and I opened my eyes.  I started searching for everything and then I realized that it was a dream. I smiled and I felt of making this dream a reality.

Well dreams, what are they? I guess it is a blend of what we think the whole day. The mind just collects all those thoughts, fears, wishes or people and then makes a story of them. When we wake up from a dream then at times we don’t understand that what was going on in that dream and what was the message. They are at times illogical and we even forget the whole dream. The things we can’t achieve or things that we desperately want at times are a part of our dreams. However, the real dream for any person would be a thing that we don’t see while sleeping rather it would be a thing that wouldn’t let us sleep.

Dreams drive us crazy to do something.  I heard somewhere that if people don’t laugh at your dreams that means that you aren’t dreaming big. Dare to dream big. These dreams take us in a different world. When we close our eyes and think about that moment of future, where we have achieved our dream, it acts as a source of energy and helps us in starting working for our aims.

When I go to any random place, I look at others and I watch their eyes.  I see hope, fear, and spark to get something in their eyes. It is filled with emotions. We have two eyes and they have myriads of dreams. We all have our own life and story. We all have set some goals and we all dream about something. Some of us try hard to achieve it and some despite of trying hard are not able to achieve because of some issue. Does it mean that we have failed in our life? Not at all. There is no age of dreaming and setting our goals. If we have failed in one thing then it is not a big deal. Learn from the mistakes you made and stand again with more energy. Transcend all the limits. Get rid of the things that are stopping you to achieve your dreams and collect all the things in your mind that makes you more dedicated towards achieving it. Then, at the end you will notice a change in yourself. The change would not be negligible. It will be gigantic. It would be a new you. It will be a person who is not bothering about the failures and who has enough of courage to fight against the various obstacles that will come in his way. It will take an awful lot of dedication, determination, self-discipline, and effort. And you will do it all for that dream. Certainly, because of all the hard work you will achieve your aim. At that moment you will be in the situation that you saw in your dreams. Now, you will not feel like sleeping because you just converted a dream into reality and reality is more beautiful than the dreams. AMEN! 🙂
